Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before planting your bonsai, ensure the pot is clean. Add a layer of drainage material (like grit or small stones) to the bottom, covering the drainage holes to prevent soil from washing out. Position your bonsai and fill the remaining space with appropriate bonsai soil mix. Use the wiring holes to secure the tree if necessary.
Compatibility: This pot is compatible with most standard bonsai soil mixes and wiring techniques. Its natural brown, unglazed finish complements a wide range of tree species, from deciduous to coniferous.
Care: Clean the pot with water and a soft brush as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the unglazed surface. If mineral deposits or algae appear, a gentle scrub with a mild soap solution followed by thorough rinsing is usually sufficient. Allow the pot to dry completely between waterings to maintain soil health.
