The product can treat up to 60 liters of water.

Is it safe to use these drops long-term?

Yes, Lifesystems Chlorine Dioxide Drops are safe for long-term use.

How long do I need to wait after adding the drops before drinking the water?

The recommended waiting time is usually around 30 minutes, but always refer to the specific instructions on the product packaging.

Can I use these drops to treat water from any source?

While effective against bacteria, viruses, and cysts, it's best to filter out any visible particles first, as the drops may not remove all sediment or chemical contaminants.

What happens if I accidentally ingest too much of the solution?

Ingesting a large amount of the concentrated solution may cause stomach discomfort. Follow the first aid instructions on the product packaging. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.

How long is the product good for once opened?

Do these drops remove all types of contaminants?

No, these drops are primarily designed to kill bacteria, viruses, and cysts. They may not be effective against chemical contaminants or heavy metals. Always pre-filter water if it appears dirty.

Troubleshooting

Water tastes or smells unusual after treatment.

Ensure the correct dosage was used and that the recommended waiting time was observed. If the taste persists, try aerating the water by pouring it between two containers to help dissipate any residual chlorine dioxide.

Cloudy water after treatment.

The drops may not remove all particulate matter. Filter the water through a cloth or a filter prior to adding the chlorine dioxide drops.

Difficulty activating the drops.

Ensure you are using the correct activator and purifier, and follow the mixing instructions carefully. If the issue persists, check the expiration date.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Preparation: Ensure you have both the purifier and activator bottles.
Activation: Add the activator to the purifier solution following the instructions on the packaging.
Mixing: Shake well to ensure the solution is fully mixed.
Application: Add the activated solution to the water you wish to purify (follow dosage instructions). Typically, a few drops per liter is sufficient, but this will vary depending on the product’s instructions.
Waiting Time: Allow the specified contact time (usually 30 minutes) for the drops to work. This allows sufficient time for the chlorine dioxide to eliminate contaminants.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within 18 months.
