This is normal for high-quality natural wool; airing the duvet in a well-ventilated room will dissipate the scent.
To set up your duvet, simply air it out for a few hours upon unpacking to allow the natural fibers to expand. If you own a second duvet from the Soak&Sleep wool range, use the integrated corner ties to secure them together for added warmth. Regarding care, because of the natural properties of wool, this duvet is not machine washable. To maintain its freshness, shake it out regularly and air it outdoors in the shade on a dry day to dissipate moisture. For deep cleaning, always seek a professional dry cleaner experienced with wool bedding to prevent fiber damage.
