FAQs

Can I use the burners if the electricity is off?

The gas flow will work, but the electronic flame ignition and the FlameLight LED indicators will not function without power.

Is the black glass surface difficult to keep clean?

The matt black finish is designed to resist fingerprints, but it should be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap to avoid surface scratches.

Does this hob come with a conversion kit for different gas types?

Please consult the installation manual or contact your dealer, as gas configuration requirements vary by region.

What is the purpose of the Minute Minder?

It serves as an independent cooking timer to alert you when your set time has elapsed, helping you manage multiple cooking stages.

Can I place heavy cast iron pans on this hob?

Yes, the robust cast iron pan supports are designed to hold heavy cookware safely.

Troubleshooting

Flame will not ignite

Ensure the burner cap is correctly positioned and the igniter is clean; if there is a power outage, the electronic ignition will not function.

Hob2Hood not syncing with hood

Check that your range hood is compatible with Hob2Hood and that both devices have the wireless synchronization feature enabled.

LED indicator not showing

Verify that the hob is properly connected to the electrical mains power supply, as the LEDs require electricity to function.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This unit must be installed by a qualified gas technician to ensure safety and compliance with local building regulations. Ensure the countertop cutout is compatible with the 90cm dimensions before installation. For daily maintenance, wipe the tempered glass surface with a soft, non-abrasive cloth after the hob has cooled down completely. While the matt black glass is designed to resist fingerprints, avoid using harsh scouring pads or acidic cleaners, which may damage the finish. The cast iron pan supports can be removed for cleaning; check your local appliance manual to confirm if they are dishwasher safe.
