Setup, Compatibility & Care
There is no complex setup required for Advil tablets; they are ready for immediate use. To ensure optimal effectiveness and safety:
- Storage: Keep the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and reach of children.
- Dosage: Adults and children 12 years and older should take one tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms persist. If pain or fever does not respond to one tablet, two tablets may be used.
- Usage: It is generally recommended to take the medication with a full glass of water. Taking the tablet with food or milk may help minimize potential stomach upset.
- Compatibility: Advil is an NSAID. Consult with a healthcare provider before use if you are currently taking other medications, specifically blood thinners, other NSAIDs, or if you have a history of stomach bleeding or heart conditions.
