Product Information

Full details

The Shires Blue Sweet Iron Loose Ring Snaffle Bit with Lozenge discourages fixing and leaning due to its increased movement compared to a fixed cheek, allowing it to follow the angle of the tongue. The shaped lozenge provides even pressure and promotes mouthing and contact. Blue sweet iron oxidizes easily, creating warmth and a sweet taste that aids in bit acceptance and salivation. Brass Alloy inserts enhance palatability. This bit is available in 4.5", 5.0", or 5.5" and has a mouthpiece thickness of 15mm.
