FAQs

Can I use this with non-Tempur pillows?

While it is designed for Tempur shapes, it may fit other pillows of similar dimensions, though a perfect fit is not guaranteed.

How often should I wash the protector?

It is recommended to wash the protector every 2-4 weeks, depending on your personal preference and sleep environment.

Will this protector make noise when I move?

No, the material is designed to be silent and soft, unlike traditional plastic-backed protectors.

Does this protector change the feel of the pillow?

No, it is thin and flexible, designed to maintain the support and comfort profile of your pillow.

Is the protector waterproof?

The protector acts as a moisture barrier to protect the pillow, but refer to the specific label for its liquid resistance rating.

Troubleshooting

Protector feels loose or bunches up

Ensure you are using the correct size for your specific Tempur pillow model and smooth out the fabric during installation.

Fabric feels warm or traps heat

Check that you are not using a thick or non-breathable secondary pillowcase over the protector, which can negate the cooling properties.

Pros and Cons

Breathable fabric prevents heat accumulation
Provides a reliable barrier against moisture and stains
Machine washable for effortless hygiene maintenance
Maintains the intended feel of your Tempur pillow

Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up, simply slide the protector over your Tempur pillow, ensuring all corners are aligned with the corners of the pillow core. It is compatible with most standard Tempur pillow models. Regarding care, always check the interior wash label for specific temperature settings. Generally, you should machine wash the protector in cold or lukewarm water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using harsh bleach or heavy-duty industrial detergents, as these can degrade the protective membrane. Tumble dry on a low heat setting or air dry to ensure the longevity of the fabric.
