Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Sharp washing machine, verify that the unit is placed on a level surface to prevent vibration during high-speed spin cycles. During installation, ensure all transit bolts are removed, as leaving these in place can cause severe damage.
For ongoing care, wipe the door seal (gasket) after every wash to prevent mold buildup and run a maintenance wash with a washing machine cleaner every month. Ensure the filter located at the bottom front of the machine is cleared of debris such as buttons or coins every few months to keep the drainage system running smoothly. Always check labels on garments to ensure they are compatible with the specific wash temperatures, especially when using the Cold Hygiene mode.
