They are designed for indoor dining. Outdoor use may expose them to excessive moisture or UV damage which could degrade the materials over time.
They are designed to protect against warm plates, but they should not be used as direct heat trivets for hot cookware straight from the oven or stove.
The set includes a coordinated collection of placemats and matching coasters. Please verify the specific quantity count on your packaging as sets may vary.
To preserve the vibrancy, avoid keeping the placemats in direct, intense sunlight for prolonged periods when not in use.
No, do not iron the placemats, as high heat will damage the surface and the printed artwork.
Gently dab the area with a soft, damp microfiber cloth; do not scrub forcefully to prevent damaging the artwork layer.
Apply a small, clear adhesive silicone grip pad to the underside of the coaster to improve stability.
Setting up the table involves arranging the placemats evenly spaced around the table, placing the coasters to the right of each dinner plate for a standard formal or casual layout. For compatibility, these pieces look best on wood, glass, or stone surfaces. To care for your Benjamin Tate Design set, gently wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth after every use to remove spills or food debris. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive sponges that could scratch or fade the vibrant print. Do not submerge the items in water or place them in a dishwasher, as the base materials may be moisture-sensitive.
