No, the Pentel WOW! BK440 series is designed as a disposable writing instrument.
The ink is formulated for standard paper weights and typically does not bleed through, though results may vary on extremely thin or porous paper.
No, this ballpoint ink is not archival quality and may smear if exposed to water.
Yes, the fast-drying nature of the ink reduces the chance of smearing while writing.
While acceptable for most general documents, check with specific legal or financial entities that may require archival, permanent pigment inks.
Scribble on a scrap piece of paper for a few seconds to restart the ink flow, as ballpoint ink can occasionally settle if stored tip-up.
Ensure no debris is lodged in the tip opening and click the button firmly several times to reset the internal spring mechanism.
No complex setup is required for the Pentel WOW! pens; they are ready for use immediately upon removal from the packaging. For best performance, store the pens with the tip retracted when not in use to prevent ink from leaking or drying in the nib. To maintain the grip quality, avoid exposing the pens to extreme heat or prolonged direct sunlight, which can cause the rubber material to degrade or become tacky. The pens are compatible with all standard cellulose and cotton-fiber writing papers.
