- Wrapping: Start wrapping the exhaust component, overlapping the wrap by about 1/4 inch. Maintain consistent tension.
- Securing: Secure the wrap with stainless steel locking ties or high-temperature hose clamps. Ensure the wrap is tight to prevent gaps.
- Finishing: Trim any excess wrap, and inspect the installation for any loose ends or potential weak points.
Compatibility
This exhaust wrap is compatible with a wide range of exhaust systems. It is generally suitable for most gasoline and diesel engines.
Care
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the wrap for any damage, such as tears or fraying.
- Cleaning: Clean the wrap with a mild detergent and water, if necessary.
