FAQs
Are these bibs BPA free?
Yes, Liewood silicone products are made from high-quality, food-grade silicone that is free from harmful chemicals like BPA.
Can I put these in the washing machine?
No, these are designed for hand washing or dishwasher use only. The washing machine may damage the shape or the poppers.
Will the silicone stain?
While silicone is generally stain-resistant, highly pigmented foods like tomato sauce or turmeric may leave temporary marks if left on too long. Rinse promptly to prevent this.
What is the recommended age range?
These bibs are best suited for infants starting solids through to the toddler years, depending on the child's neck size and appetite.
How many come in a pack?
Each set includes two individual silicone bibs.
Troubleshooting
Neck poppers are difficult to close
Check the popper holes for any dried food debris and clean them with a soft brush before attempting to fasten.
Silicone surface feels greasy
Wash the bib in the dishwasher on a high-temperature cycle or scrub with warm soapy water to remove residual oils.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Dishwasher safe for effortless cleanup
- Soft material is comfortable for long wear
- Durable construction withstands daily use
- Effective pocket design catches most food spills
- Adjustable neck ensures a custom fit
Cons
- May feel bulky compared to traditional fabric bibs
- Limited to smaller children as they grow
- Can trap food if the pocket is not checked after meals
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the bib, simply secure the neck poppers to the desired size based on your child's comfort. Ensure the fit is snug enough to keep the bib positioned flat against the chest, but loose enough to avoid discomfort. For care, these bibs are dishwasher safe. To maintain hygiene, rinse the pocket after every meal to remove debris buildup. While the material is durable, avoid using abrasive scrubbing brushes which could scratch the surface over long periods. Store flat or rolled in a clean, dry area.
