Nikon motordrive camera trigger cable. Compatible with MULTIMAX unit. Suitable for Selected Nikon ...Nikon motordrive camera trigger cable. Compatible with MULTIMAX unit. Suitable for Selected Nikon Digital & Film cameras. The PocketWizard N10-ACC (previously N90M-ACC-ND) Remote Cable is for remotely triggering the electronic shutter release of Nikon DSLR's cameras equipped with a 10 pin Remote Terminal. It is required for remote camera triggering with a MultiMax with ACC port or FlexTT5 trigger (not PlusII), if using TTL functions. In addition, the PocketWizard N10-ACC cable contains a pre-trigger connection. When a remote zone is enabled on a MultiMAX, the camera behaves as if the camera's shutter release button were held half-pressed continuously. The PocketWizard N10-ACC makes the camera respond more quickly and consistently, but also consumes the camera's batteries much more quickly. When the remote zone is disabled, the camera will enter its normal sleep modes. This cable will not work with the D100 and D200 fitted with the MB-D100 Grip but will with the D700. MSMM stereo to mono miniphone adapter included.
The PocketWizard N10-ACC is a remote camera trigger cable designed for Nikon DSLRs and film cameras featuring a 10-pin remote terminal. It offers enhanced control over your camera's shutter release, especially when paired with specific PocketWizard transceivers like the MultiMAX or FlexTT5, allowing for independent control of half-press functions for quicker response times. A key caveat is that the pre-trigger function can significantly increase battery consumption on your camera.

FAQs
What is the primary benefit of the N10-ACC cable?
The primary benefit is the ability to remotely trigger your Nikon camera's shutter, especially with advanced control over the half-press function when used with compatible PocketWizard radios, leading to quicker response times.
Will this cable work with all Nikon cameras?
No, it is specifically designed for Nikon cameras that feature a 10-pin remote terminal. Please check the compatibility list in the guide for supported models.
Do I need any other accessories to use this cable?
To use its advanced features, you need a compatible PocketWizard transceiver (like a MultiMAX with ACC port or FlexTT5). For some older PocketWizard units, the included MSMM adapter is required.
Can I use this cable for TTL metering with my Nikon camera?
The cable itself does not provide TTL functionality. You need a compatible PocketWizard transceiver that supports TTL pass-through for your specific camera model.
How does the pre-trigger function affect battery life?
The pre-trigger function keeps the camera's shutter half-pressed, maintaining focus and exposure. This continuous state consumes camera battery power at a significantly higher rate than normal standby mode.
What is the included MSMM adapter for?
The MSMM (stereo to mono miniphone adapter) is required when using this cable with older PocketWizard radios such as the Plus II or older MultiMAX units that have a mono 3.5mm input.
What is the cable length?
The PocketWizard N10-ACC cable has a length of 0.915 meters (approximately 3 feet).
Troubleshooting
Camera does not trigger remotely.
Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the camera and the PocketWizard transceiver. Verify that the PocketWizard transceiver is powered on, correctly set up, and transmitting. Check camera settings for remote operation and ensure the correct input/output ports are used.
Half-press function does not work.
Confirm you are using a compatible PocketWizard transceiver (e.g., MultiMAX with ACC port, FlexTT5) that supports independent half-press control. Ensure the cable is connected to the ACC port if applicable. Verify that the half-press function is enabled in your PocketWizard setup.
Camera battery drains very quickly.
This is likely due to the pre-trigger function being continuously active. Disable the remote zone or pre-trigger setting on your PocketWizard transceiver when not actively using it to conserve battery power.
Cable does not fit Nikon camera's 10-pin terminal.
Double-check that your camera model is listed in the compatibility list for the N10-ACC. Ensure you are aligning the connector correctly; it should only fit one way.
