Ropump Power Unclogger - Rothenberger Industrial - 1500002695

Yes, as it uses mechanical force and no chemicals, it is safe for most standard plumbing materials, including PVC, copper, and cast iron pipes. It avoids the corrosive risks associated with chemical drain cleaners.

It is highly effective at removing common blockages such as hair, soap scum, grease, and food debris in siphons and drain pipes. It is best suited for clogs within the immediate drain area or siphon.

Select the adapter that best matches the size and shape of your drain opening. Press the Ropump firmly onto the drain so the rubber edge creates a complete seal. For angled drains, ensure the adapter fits snugly against the opening.

The Ropump Power Unclogger is designed with an extra-large hub and an adjustable grip to maximize leverage and power, providing significant mechanical force to dislodge stubborn blockages.

After each use, rinse the Ropump and its adapters thoroughly with clean water. Store in a dry place. Periodically check the piston seal for wear and tear.

Yes, with the correct adapter, it can be used for toilet blockages, though it is most effective for clogs within the trap or drain pipe rather than issues further down the sewer line.

Ensure the rubber adapter is creating a tight seal with the drain opening. Check for any gaps or leaks around the seal and adjust positioning or adapter if necessary. Verify the piston is moving freely within the cylinder.

Reposition the Ropump and try pumping with greater force. Ensure the correct adapter is being used for the type of drain. For severe blockages, multiple attempts might be needed, or a deeper clean may be required.

Inspect the piston seal for wear or damage. If the unit is new, ensure all parts are correctly assembled. Contact customer support if the issue persists.
