Troubleshooting

Liner keeps slipping down

Ensure all Velcro neck loops are securely fastened and the rear corner clips are properly clipped into the outer rug attachment points.

Restricted shoulder movement

Check that the liner is correctly aligned with the Optimo Split points on the outer rug; if misaligned, it may pull against the horse's movement.

Pros

  • Modular system reduces the number of full rugs needed
  • Optimo Split technology prevents restricted movement
  • Easy to attach and remove for quick adjustments
  • Machine washable for easy hygiene maintenance

Cons

  • Compatible only with specific Optimo rug models
  • Requires an outer rug to function correctly
  • Limited to one weight option (200g)

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install the liner, align the Velcro loops on the neck of the liner with the corresponding attachments on the inside neck of the Optimo rug. Once secured, fasten the clips at the rear corners to the designated attachment points on the outer rug to prevent the liner from slipping during movement.

Compatibility

This product is only compatible with Rambo Optimo outer rugs that feature the liner attachment icon. Before purchasing, verify your outer rug has these attachment points.

Care Instructions

The liner is made from polyester and is machine washable. To maintain the loft of the 200g fill, use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Ensure the liner is completely dry before re-attaching it to the horse's rug to prevent moisture buildup.
