The Standard Thrust Bearing Pivot Set is an essential hardware solution for professionals and DIY enthusiasts installing double-action doors weighing up to 80kg. This pivot set offers smooth, reliable operation and long-lasting durability, making it ideal for high-traffic entryways in residential or light commercial settings. While it provides excellent structural support and quiet movement, it is specifically engineered for doors within its weight rating and should not be used for heavy industrial-grade installations exceeding 80kg.

This model is specifically designed for double-action doors where the door needs to swing in both directions.
The maximum load capacity for this pivot set is 80kg.
The set is supplied as a complete unit for installation; however, ensure your chosen fasteners are appropriate for your specific door material (wood, metal, etc.).
The silver finish is durable for interior and sheltered applications, though it is primarily intended for indoor use.
This pivot set is designed for standard hardware applications; please ensure your glass door has the correct mounting plates to accommodate these pivots.
Check if the pivot set screws have loosened or if the door alignment has shifted. Re-adjust the pivot mountings to lift the door slightly.
Inspect the pivot bearing for debris and apply a light silicone-based lubricant to the bearing surface.
Ensure that the floor pivot and the top pivot are perfectly aligned vertically using a plumb line or laser level.
Installation requires basic carpentry tools and careful measurement to ensure the door remains perfectly plumb. Always verify that your door weight does not exceed the 80kg rating before beginning the installation.
To maintain the hardware, periodically check for any loose screws that may have vibrated during use. A light application of silicone-based lubricant on the bearing contact points once a year will preserve its smooth operation.
