The Valkyrie X12 120mm PWM Computer Case Fan is designed for PC builders and enthusiasts who require a reliable balance between high-performance thermal cooling and acoustic comfort. Its primary benefit is the combination of fluid dynamic bearing technology with precise PWM speed control, making it ideal for maintaining optimal airflow in high-performance CPU or chassis cooling configurations. One caveat to note is that while it offers robust airflow of up to 80 cfm, users should ensure their motherboard headers support 4-pin PWM control to fully leverage the intelligent speed adjustment features.

No, this specific model (VK-FANX12FB) is the non-RGB version featuring a solid black frame.
Yes, the high airflow and PWM control make it suitable for use on CPU coolers and radiators.
The fan operates between 800 RPM and 2150 RPM, depending on your system's thermal demands.
Yes, standard mounting screws are included to assist with installation.
While it can be plugged into a 3-pin header, you will lose the intelligent PWM speed control feature and the fan will likely run at a constant speed.
The fluid dynamic bearing reduces friction, which results in quieter operation and a longer service life compared to standard sleeve bearings.
Verify in your BIOS settings that the fan header is set to 'PWM' mode rather than 'DC' or 'Voltage' mode.
Check that the 4-pin connector is securely plugged into a motherboard header labeled for fans and ensure the cable is not obstructed by wires.
Ensure the mounting screws are not overtightened, which can warp the frame and impact the rotor, and check that no cables are touching the blades.
Installation of the Valkyrie X12 is straightforward. To install, mount the fan in your desired location using the included screws, ensuring the airflow direction arrow (typically on the frame side) points toward the area you wish to exhaust air from. Connect the 4-pin cable to an available PWM-enabled header on your motherboard. We recommend accessing your BIOS or motherboard control software to calibrate the fan curves for optimal noise and thermal balance. To maintain performance, use compressed air to gently remove dust from the fan blades every six months, ensuring that debris does not increase friction or impede rotation.
