This tape measure is ready for use immediately out of the packaging. To ensure the longevity of the tape, always allow the blade to retract slowly rather than letting it snap back into the housing, as this prevents internal spring fatigue and blade damage. If the blade becomes dusty or dirty after use in a workshop, wipe it down with a dry, lint-free cloth to maintain the clarity of the markings. Avoid exposing the tape to harsh chemicals or extreme moisture to preserve the printed Welsh Rugby logo and the structural integrity of the steel blade.
