Full details

The Quest 6 Litre Digital Air Fryer in Black is designed for families of 2-4 people looking for a healthier and faster way to cook meals. Its key benefit is the rapid air circulation technology that cooks food with little to no oil, resulting in healthier versions of favorite dishes. A potential caveat is its countertop footprint, measuring 35 x 28 x 27cm, which requires dedicated space. This 1750W air fryer features a generous 6-litre capacity, intuitive digital touch screen controls with 8 presets, a 60-minute timer, adjustable temperature settings from 60°C-200°C, a keep warm function, and a shake reminder for even cooking. It also boasts a transparent viewing window, a cool-touch handle, and a dishwasher-safe non-stick basket, alongside automatic shut-off and overheat protection for safety.

FAQs

What is the capacity of this air fryer?

The Quest 6 Litre Digital Air Fryer has a capacity of 6 litres, making it suitable for cooking meals for approximately 2 to 4 people.

Can I cook frozen food in this air fryer?

Yes, you can cook frozen food. It is recommended to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time compared to fresh ingredients and ensure not to overcrowd the basket for best results.

Do I need to use oil when cooking?

No, the rapid air circulation technology cooks food with little to no oil. A light spray or teaspoon of oil can be used for certain foods to enhance crispiness or flavour, but it is not required for the cooking process itself.

How do I clean the air fryer basket?

The non-stick basket is dishwasher safe. Alternatively, you can hand wash it with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Ensure it is completely dry before placing it back in the air fryer.

What is the temperature range and maximum cooking time?

The temperature can be adjusted from 60°C to 200°C, and the timer can be set for up to 60 minutes.

Is the exterior of the air fryer safe to touch?

The handle for accessing the basket is designed to be cool to the touch for safe operation. The main body of the air fryer may become hot during use, so caution is advised.

What safety features are included?

The air fryer includes automatic shut-off once cooking is complete and built-in overheat protection for safe operation.

Troubleshooting

Air fryer not turning on

Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the basket is properly inserted, as some models have a safety mechanism that prevents operation if the basket is not fully in place.

Food is unevenly cooked or not crispy

Do not overfill the basket. Ensure food items are in a single layer. Use the 'Shake Reminder' and shake the basket halfway through cooking. For larger items, consider adjusting the temperature or cooking time slightly.

Smoke coming from the air fryer

This can be caused by food debris on the heating element or by cooking excessively fatty foods. Ensure the basket and interior are clean. For fatty foods, you may need to trim excess fat before cooking or use the 'Keep Warm' function judiciously.

Touch screen is unresponsive

Ensure your fingers are clean and dry when operating the touch screen. Unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds, and plug it back in to reset the control panel.

Error code displayed

Refer to the user manual for specific error code meanings. Often, unplugging the unit for a few minutes can resolve temporary glitches.
