Full details

The Holden Décor Leopard Print Wallpaper is an ideal choice for homeowners and designers looking to add a touch of sophisticated character to bedrooms, living spaces, or feature walls without overwhelming the room. It offers a refined, luxurious aesthetic through its neutral beige palette and subtle gold metallic accents, making it highly versatile for modern, safari, or boutique interior themes. While it provides excellent texture and style, users should note that the traditional paste-the-paper application method requires a bit more preparation and patience compared to peel-and-stick alternatives.

FAQs

What is the pattern repeat for this wallpaper?

This wallpaper features a 26.5cm offset match, which means the pattern shifts by that distance on every second strip.

Can I use this in a bathroom?

No, this wallpaper is not designed for high-humidity environments. It is better suited for bedrooms, living rooms, or hallways.

How should I clean this wallpaper?

The wallpaper is washable. Use a soft, damp cloth to lightly wipe away dust or marks; avoid scrubbing or using harsh cleaning agents.

Is the metallic finish very shiny?

The gold metallic detailing is designed to be subtle and refined, providing a soft shimmer rather than a highly reflective or glossy appearance.

Do I need special paste for this paper?

A standard, high-quality wallpaper adhesive suitable for non-woven or paper-backed wallcoverings should work perfectly.

Troubleshooting

Pattern alignment looks off

This paper features a 26.5cm offset match; ensure you are shifting the next strip down by this amount to allow the leopard print to align correctly.

Bubbles forming under the paper

Use a wallpaper smoothing tool or a soft brush to gently push air pockets toward the nearest edge of the strip during the application process.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated and luxurious metallic highlights
Neutral color palette complements many interior styles
Washable material ensures long-term maintenance
Durable light fastness for color longevity

Cons

Requires traditional paste-the-paper application
Offset match requires careful planning for pattern alignment
Not suitable for high-moisture areas like bathrooms

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation of this product follows the traditional paste-the-paper method. Ensure your walls are smooth, clean, and primed with a suitable wallpaper primer before application. Apply a high-quality wallpaper paste evenly to the back of the paper, allowing it to soak for the manufacturer's recommended time before hanging.

Due to the 26.5cm offset match, align your strips carefully at the ceiling and floor lines, allowing the pattern to "step" as you move across the wall. For maintenance, keep the wallpaper looking fresh by gently wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges, as these may damage the metallic detailing.
