The Winmau Solaris Pro Specialist 23g steel tip darts are designed for competitive players who require a high-density, precision-engineered set for consistent grouping and superior grip. Crafted from 90% tungsten, these darts offer a slim profile that minimizes bounce-outs during play; however, their aggressive grip pattern may feel overly abrasive to players who prefer a smoother, traditional barrel finish.

No, these are steel tip darts designed exclusively for traditional bristle dartboards. Using them on electronic boards will cause permanent damage.
Yes, the barrels use a standard 2BA thread, making them compatible with most aftermarket shafts.
90% tungsten allows for a denser material, meaning the barrel can be made slimmer while maintaining the same weight, which helps improve scoring in tight areas.
Flights should be replaced once they become excessively frayed or lose their 90-degree angle, as this will negatively affect the flight path.
The Solaris Pro Specialist typically features a balanced center-weighted profile, making it versatile for most throwing styles.
Use a specialized flight punch to create a small hole in the flight and secure it with a spring ring on the shaft.
Check the points for burrs or hooks. If found, use a sharpening stone to smooth the metal surface immediately.
Check your landing angle; frequent impacts suggest a need for a different flight shape or adjusting your throwing arc.
To set up your darts, firmly insert the provided Winmau Prism Solar flights into the slots of the Pro Force shafts. If you find the flights are loose, use a small flight punch to secure them. When cleaning your barrels, avoid harsh chemical cleaners which can degrade the grip; instead, use a soft, dry nylon brush to remove dust and debris from the grooves. Regularly inspect your steel points for burrs; if the points become dull or hooked, use a fine-grit sharpening stone to restore the tip, as dull points can damage your dartboard surface.
