Pileostegia viburnoides, also known as Climbing Hydrangea, is an unusual evergreen climber from Plant Theory, ideal for shady walls. It produces clusters of star-shaped, creamy-white flowers with prominent stamens in dense panicles from late summer into autumn, set against long, leathery, dark green leaves. This self-clinging vine thrives in fertile, well-drained soil and can be grown in full sun or full shade. It is slow-growing and fully hardy. After flowering, prune stems to manage size and apply a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base. This particular variant comes in a 2L pot with a 60cm cane.
