Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These filters are designed for direct replacement. Ensure your cooker hood is switched off and unplugged from the power supply before attempting to remove or install filters. Locate the existing filters within your cooker hood (usually behind a removable grille or panel), release them, and insert the new Spares2Go filters. Consult your cooker hood's manual for specific instructions on filter access and removal.
Compatibility: These filters are designed to fit Whirlpool oven cooker hoods and kitchen extractors. It is essential to verify that your specific Whirlpool model's dimensions match the filter size (305mm x 267mm) and that it is listed as compatible. Refer to your appliance's user manual or the manufacturer's specifications to confirm compatibility.
Care: For optimal performance and longevity, these aluminium mesh filters should be cleaned regularly. Hand washing with warm, soapy water is recommended. Soak the filter in hot, soapy water for at least an hour to loosen grease, then gently scrub with a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reinserting into the cooker hood. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Frequency of cleaning depends on usage; it is generally recommended to clean them every 1-3 months.
