The Shimano Dura-Ace WH-R9200-C36-TU is a high-performance carbon tubular wheel designed for professional road racing. It features a lightweight 36mm deep full carbon rim, providing improved aerodynamics and rigidity, making it ideal for sprinters and TT specialists, as well as climbers in hilly or mountainous terrain. The wheel utilizes butted and bladed straight pull spokes for optimal balance and rigidity, with elbow-less spokes contributing to strength and compliance. High lateral rigidity is achieved through wide flange spacing, and labyrinth double-contact sealing effectively protects against water and dirt. The hub features an alloy cone with integrated steel Borozon treated bearing races for reduced friction, and a cold-forged aluminum hub shell with an oversized axle to minimize weight. This rear wheel is compatible with 700C tubular tires and 12-speed drivetrains.
