Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug in your desired location. Due to its natural fibers, it may take a short period to lie completely flat. Placing heavy furniture on the corners can help speed this process.
Compatibility: This rug is compatible with most floor types, including hardwood, tile, and laminate. It can be used with underfloor heating, provided the heating does not exceed recommended temperatures for natural fibers.
Care: To maintain the rug's appearance and longevity:
- Regular Maintenance: Shake the rug outdoors periodically to remove loose dirt and debris. Vacuum regularly using a low-suction setting without a beater bar to avoid damaging the fibers.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills and stains, act immediately. Blot the affected area gently with a clean, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap or water. Avoid saturating the fibers.
- Drying: Allow the rug to air dry completely after spot cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the natural fibers and color.
