Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install the fender, ensure the motorcycle is on a stable paddock stand. Clean the mounting area thoroughly to remove any existing grease or dirt. Align the fender with the factory-drilled holes; if the fit feels forced, double-check your model compatibility. Use the existing hardware to secure the fender, tightening in a cross-pattern to distribute pressure evenly. For long-term care, wipe the fender down with a mild soap solution after riding. Avoid using high-pressure power washers at a very close range, as this can degrade the finish over time. Periodically inspect the mounting bolts to ensure they have not loosened due to engine vibration.
