Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from old wallpaper or loose paint. Any imperfections should be smoothed out.
- Cutting: Measure and cut wallpaper lengths, allowing for the 53cm straight match pattern repeat. Cut using a sharp blade for clean edges.
- Pasting: Apply wallpaper adhesive evenly to the back of the wallpaper according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions. Allow for appropriate booking time if specified.
- Hanging: Apply the pasted wallpaper to the wall, starting from the top corner. Use a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool to eliminate air bubbles and ensure a smooth finish.
- Trimming: Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling, skirting boards, and around obstacles with a sharp blade.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls that are properly prepared. It is recommended for use in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and dining areas. Ensure the wall surface is suitable for a 'paste the paper' application.
Care:
Due to its extra washable classification, this wallpaper can be cleaned gently. Use a slightly damp cloth or sponge with mild soap and water for cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, which can damage the textured finish. Ensure the cleaned area is dried naturally.
