Product Information

Full details

The Bedzonline Gravity Memory Foam & Spring Mattress is designed for individuals and couples seeking a balanced sleep experience with a medium-firm feel. Its key benefit is the combination of responsive spring support and pressure-relieving memory foam, promoting better posture and deeper sleep. A potential caveat for some users might be its medium-firm rating, which may not suit those preferring a very soft or very firm mattress. This hybrid mattress features an open coil spring system, a high-density memory foam layer, and a Cool-Touch fabric cover for enhanced breathability and temperature regulation. It is also hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant, and conveniently arrives vacuum-packed and roll-packed for easy setup.

FAQs

What is the comfort level of this mattress?

The Bedzonline Gravity Mattress has a medium-firm comfort level, designed to suit a wide range of sleepers.

How long does it take for the mattress to fully expand?

The mattress should be left to expand for at least 24-72 hours in a well-ventilated room after unboxing. It may take up to a week to reach its full shape and firmness.

Is this mattress suitable for people with allergies?

Yes, the mattress is hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant, making it a good choice for individuals prone to allergies.

Can I use this mattress on an adjustable bed base?

This mattress is generally compatible with adjustable bed bases, but it's recommended to ensure the base is suitable for a hybrid mattress of this thickness and to check the base manufacturer's recommendations.

What are the available sizes for this mattress?

The mattress is available in various sizes, including Small Single, Single, Double, and King.

Does the Cool-Touch fabric actually make a difference?

Yes, the Cool-Touch fabric is designed for enhanced breathability, helping to regulate body temperature and provide a cooler sleep experience compared to standard mattress fabrics.

How should I clean the mattress?

Spot clean spills with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the mattress and do not use harsh cleaning chemicals. Using a mattress protector is the best way to keep it clean.

Is this mattress suitable for heavy individuals?

The mattress features a supportive spring coil system and high-density foam, providing dependable support. However, for individuals significantly exceeding average weight, a mattress with reinforced edge support or a higher weight capacity might be considered.

Troubleshooting

Mattress not expanding to full size

Ensure the mattress has been allowed adequate time (up to 72 hours) in a well-ventilated room. Check that it is on a flat, even surface and that no excessive weight has been placed on it during expansion.

Uneven feel or sagging

Rotate the mattress head-to-foot. If the issue persists after several months, check the bed base for any damage or unevenness that might be affecting the mattress support.

Noticeable odor after unboxing

This is a common 'new mattress' smell. Ensure the room is well-ventilated by opening windows. The odor should dissipate within a few days to a week.

Discomfort or pressure points

Allow a settling-in period of 2-4 weeks. If discomfort persists, the medium-firm feel might not be ideal for your specific needs. Consider rotating the mattress and ensuring your pillow is also suited to your sleep position.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Offers a balanced blend of support from springs and comfort from memory foam.
Aids in pressure point relief and promotes better posture.
The Cool-Touch cover enhances breathability for a cooler sleep.
Suitable for allergy sufferers due to hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant properties.
Minimizes motion transfer, ideal for couples.
Convenient roll-packed delivery simplifies setup.

Cons

May not be suitable for individuals who prefer extremely soft or firm mattresses.
As a hybrid, it may not offer the deep contouring of an all-foam memory foam mattress.
While breathable, very sensitive sleepers might still find it warmer than specialized cooling mattresses.
Requires a period to fully expand after unboxing.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

Unboxing: Carefully remove the mattress from its packaging. It arrives vacuum-sealed and roll-packed for convenience.
Placement: Place the mattress on a suitable base (e.g., slatted bed frame, divan base).
Expansion: Allow the mattress to expand fully in a well-ventilated room for at least 24-72 hours. It may take up to a week to reach its full shape and thickness.
Initial Odor: A new mattress may have a slight odor from the manufacturing process. This is normal and will dissipate as the mattress airs out.

Compatibility:

The Bedzonline Gravity Mattress is compatible with most bed frames, including:

Slatted bases (ensure slats are no more than 7 cm apart)
Divan bases
Platform beds
Adjustable bed bases (use with caution and ensure compatibility with mattress thickness and flexibility)

Care Instructions:

Rotation: For even wear, rotate the mattress head-to-foot every 3-6 months.
Cleaning: Spot clean any spills immediately with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Do not saturate the mattress. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Protection: Using a mattress protector is highly recommended to safeguard against spills, stains, and allergens, extending the mattress's lifespan.
Vacuuming: Periodically vacuum the surface of the mattress to remove dust and debris.
Avoid Jumping: Do not allow excessive jumping or standing on the mattress, as this can damage the internal components.
