Yes, the grey sage lining is made of a cotton/polyester blend and is removable for machine washing on a gentle cycle with cold water.
The basket itself is constructed from grey wash willow, with cream faux leather accents.
No, the Red Hamper Grey Wash Square Laundry Basket comes fully assembled and ready to use.
Wipe the willow exterior with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking the material. Ensure it is completely air-dried.
While it can be used in a bathroom, prolonged exposure to high humidity is not recommended for the willow material. Ensure good ventilation and dry the basket thoroughly if it becomes damp.
The basket has a spacious capacity suitable for multiple loads of laundry, ideal for families or individuals with significant washing needs.
Ensure the basket is placed on a flat, even surface. Check that the willow construction is not warped due to moisture. If the lining is improperly seated, readjust it.
Remove the lining and machine wash according to care instructions. For stubborn odors, consider adding a cup of white vinegar to the wash cycle or using a fabric freshener after washing.
Immediately move the basket to a well-ventilated, dry area. Gently clean the affected area with a cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution, or a diluted vinegar solution. Ensure the basket dries completely before use. Prevent future mildew by storing in a dry location and ensuring the basket is fully dry before refilling.
