Setup, Compatibility & Care
When working with this PVC vinyl, success depends on using the right tools. Use a leather or denim needle (size 90/14 or 100/16) to ensure the machine can pierce the surface without skipped stitches. A Teflon or walking foot is highly recommended to prevent the fabric from sticking to the machine throat plate, which ensures consistent feed. Avoid ironing directly on the PVC side, as the heat can melt the finish; always press from the wrong side using a low heat setting and a pressing cloth. Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the surface with a damp, soft cloth using mild soap if necessary, then air dry.
