Yes, the device is designed for full-body use, but always ensure you are using it carefully on sensitive facial skin and avoiding the immediate eye area.
Yes, it is recommended to shave the treatment area before using the device so the light energy can reach the follicle effectively.
IPL technology relies on a contrast between hair and skin pigment. Consult the manual to see if your specific skin tone and hair color combination is compatible.
Typically, you should start with bi-weekly sessions and transition to monthly maintenance sessions once hair growth has sufficiently thinned.
Ensure the sensor is fully in contact with the skin surface. The safety mechanism requires full skin contact to fire.
This is normal during extended use. If it becomes hot to the touch, pause your session for 5–10 minutes to allow the unit to cool.
Verify that you are using the device consistently and that your hair color/skin tone is compatible with IPL technology.
To begin, ensure the skin is clean, dry, and shaven before the first session to allow the light to penetrate the follicle effectively. Always conduct a patch test on a small, discreet area to check for skin sensitivity. To maintain the device, keep the flash window clean by wiping it gently with a dry, lint-free cloth after every use. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Before starting, verify that your skin tone and hair color fall within the effective range for IPL technology as outlined in the instruction manual, as extreme contrasts are necessary for the best results.
