Troubleshooting
Device feels too tight or restrictive.
Ensure you have selected the correct size (XS-XL) for your body type. Check that the tethers are correctly attached and adjusted for smooth side-to-side motion without excessive pull.
Difficulty exiting the vehicle due to snagging.
Confirm the device is the 'Slide' design and that the low-profile back plate is not catching on seat edges or roll cage components. Ensure proper fitment so the device sits correctly on your shoulders.
M61 Quick Release tethers not detaching easily.
Verify that the helmet anchors are correctly installed and compatible with FIA 8858-2010 standards. Ensure the quick-release cord is properly routed and not obstructed. Check for any debris or damage to the release mechanism.
Unusual noise or movement during high G-force events.
Inspect tether connections and ensure they are securely fastened. The device is designed for motion, but excessive play could indicate a loose attachment or a potential issue with the tether system. Consult the manual or manufacturer if concerned.
