Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting installation, ensure you have a pair of adjustable pliers or a wrench and a flat-head screwdriver. Always turn off the water supply to the specific tap before beginning disassembly. To install, unscrew the tap handle, remove the valve mechanism, and pry off the old washer from the bottom of the jumper valve. Place the new washer firmly into the seat. Once replaced, carefully screw the valve back into the tap body. To ensure longevity, avoid overtightening the tap handle once repaired, as excessive force can cause premature wear on the new washer.
