FAQs
What material is the coat hook made of?
The coat hook is finished in swing polished brass.
What are the dimensions of the coat hook?
The height of the coat hook is 82 mm.
How many items can this hook hold?
The triple swinging design allows for up to three items to be hung simultaneously, one on each swinging arm.
Is installation hardware included?
Mounting hardware such as screws and wall plugs are typically not included, as they need to be specific to your wall type.
Can I use this in a bathroom or kitchen?
While functional, the polished brass finish is best suited for drier environments like hallways, bedrooms, or utility spaces to maintain its appearance. High humidity might affect the finish over time.
How do I clean the polished brass finish?
Clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Can the hooks be locked in place?
The hooks are designed to swing freely for flexible use and do not have a locking mechanism.
Troubleshooting
Coat hook is loose on the wall.
Ensure wall fixings are securely tightened. If using older fixings, consider replacing them with new ones appropriate for your wall type.
Swinging arms are stiff or difficult to move.
Gently test the movement. If resistance persists, check for any obstructions. Lubrication is generally not recommended for this type of hardware unless specified by the manufacturer.
Brass finish appears dull or discolored.
Clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. For persistent dullness, use a brass polish specifically designed for polished finishes, following the product instructions carefully.
