Full details

The OHS Plush Ribbed Pet Sofa Bed is designed for pet owners seeking a blend of high-end aesthetics and superior comfort for their dogs or cats. Its primary benefit is the combination of supportive, high-walled design with a soft, ribbed plush texture that promotes restful sleep; however, potential buyers should note that while the cover is washable, the structural integrity of the bolsters requires careful handling during cleaning to ensure longevity.

FAQs

Is this bed suitable for large dogs?

The bed is best suited for small to medium-sized pets; please check the specific dimensions against your pet's sleeping length.

Can I put the bed in the dryer?

It is recommended to air dry the cover to maintain the softness of the ribbed plush fabric.

How do I remove the cover?

Locate the discreet zipper along the base of the bed and unzip it to remove the inner foam support structure.

Is the material safe for pets?

Yes, the materials are soft and non-toxic, designed specifically for pet comfort.

Will the non-slip base damage my floors?

No, the non-slip material is designed to be gentle on all floor types, including sensitive hardwood.

Troubleshooting

The bed seems flat after unboxing

Gently shake and knead the stuffing to redistribute the filling and allow the air to naturally expand the interior cushions over 24 hours.

Cover is difficult to zip back on

Ensure the inner cushion is completely aligned with the corners of the cover before pulling the zipper, and do not force the fabric if caught.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Soft, high-quality ribbed plush material
Raised edges offer excellent head and neck support
Non-slip base ensures safety on slippery surfaces
Easy-to-clean design with a removable cover
Neutral aesthetic fits well with modern home interiors

Cons

Not intended for heavy chewers who may damage plush fabric
Requires careful washing cycles to preserve fabric texture
Sizing may be limiting for extremely large dog breeds

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the bed is straightforward; simply unpack the unit, shake it to allow the internal cushioning to regain its full volume after shipping, and place it on a level floor. The bed is compatible with most interior surfaces, including hardwood, laminate, and carpet. To care for the product, unzip the cover and machine wash on a gentle, cool cycle using mild detergent. Always air dry the cover to prevent shrinking or damage to the ribbed plush material. Avoid using high-heat tumble dryers or harsh chemical bleaches, as these can degrade the plush texture and the non-slip coating.
