Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting your project, it is recommended to pre-wash the fabric at 40 degrees to account for any initial shrinkage common with natural cotton fibers. When cutting, ensure the grainline is square to the selvage to keep your gingham checks perfectly aligned. The fabric is compatible with standard universal sewing needles; a size 70/10 or 80/12 is recommended to prevent thread tension issues. To maintain the integrity of the dusky pink color and the fabric's soft finish, avoid using harsh bleach during machine washing.
