Troubleshooting

The device will not turn on

Check that the 9V battery is installed correctly and has a sufficient charge.

Constant false signals or chirping

Lower the sensitivity setting, as the current level may be too high for the mineral content of the soil.

LEDs are flashing but no audio

Check the volume dial to ensure it is not set to the lowest position.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using your detector, remove the battery compartment cover and insert a fresh 9V battery. Ensure the polarity is correct before securing the cover. Adjust the stem length so the coil rests comfortably just above the ground when your arm is at your side.

Maintenance Tips:

Keep the device dry; while the search coil is moisture-resistant, the main control box is not waterproof.
Clean the coil surface with a damp cloth after outdoor use to prevent dirt buildup.
Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent terminal corrosion.
Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
