FAQs

Can I install these panels over existing tiles?

Yes, provided the tiles are clean, dry, and securely fixed to the wall, and the surface is level.

What tools do I need to cut the panels?

A fine-tooth hand saw or a jigsaw with a blade suitable for plastics will provide the cleanest cuts.

Are these panels fire-rated?

These panels are for decorative wall surfacing; please check local building regulations regarding fire safety requirements in your specific region.

Do I need to seal the joints with silicone?

While the tongue-and-groove system is designed to be tight, it is recommended to apply a bead of silicone in shower areas to ensure 100% water-tightness.

What is the total thickness of the panels?

The panels are 8mm thick, providing a robust yet lightweight wall covering.

How many panels are in one pack?

Each pack contains 4 panels.

Troubleshooting

Joints are not fitting flush together

Check that the substrate is perfectly flat and ensure no debris is stuck inside the tongue-and-groove channel.

Panel appears bowed on the wall

Ensure the adhesive was applied evenly and that the wall surface was not damp during application.

Surface feels difficult to clean

Do not use abrasive cleaners; stick to non-scratch detergents and soft microfiber cloths to maintain the gloss.

Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before installation, ensure your walls are clean, dry, and structurally sound. Use a recommended panel adhesive suitable for PVC materials, applying it in vertical beads to allow for proper bonding. Always use matching trims for internal and external corners to protect the exposed edges of the panels. For maintenance, avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can dull the gloss finish. A soft cloth with warm soapy water is sufficient for daily cleaning. When storing panels before installation, keep them flat and away from direct heat sources to prevent warping.
