Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The panel comes with a complete wiring harness, designed for direct connection. Users should consult the included wiring diagram to correctly identify and connect the ignition switch, starter button, and accessory switch to the vehicle's electrical system. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
Compatibility: This switch panel is compatible with 12-volt DC electrical systems typically found in cars, trucks, and other vehicles. It is rated for 30 amps per switch, meaning the total current draw for any accessory connected to a single switch must not exceed this limit. It is suitable for aftermarket installations where a custom dash layout is desired.
Care: To maintain the panel's appearance and function, clean the aluminium surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Periodically check wiring connections for tightness and corrosion. The flip-up cover for the ignition switch should operate smoothly; if stiff, a small amount of lubricant can be applied to the hinge.
