Product Information

Full details

The Smart Grooming Smart Manes Rake is designed to tidy thick and unruly manes or create a "pulled" look without causing discomfort to your horse. It features a wider 3" blade, similar to the Smart Tails Thinning Rake, making it well-suited for manes. The blades are interchangeable and can be easily replaced when blunt. This tool offers a humane and efficient way to thin manes without the need for backcombing. For best results, brush the mane over to the opposite side, then use the Smart Manes rake to brush down through thick areas. Finally, brush the mane back and level it using a thinning knife or scissors. Available in Coarse, Medium, or Fine grades.
