Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the tool, carefully slide the blade onto the slotted end of the No. 3 handle until it clicks securely into place, ensuring the cutting edge faces outward and is properly aligned. When finished with a project, always retract or remove the blade if the tool will be left unattended, and store the handle in a dry, safe location. To maintain the life of the blades, avoid cutting against metal or glass surfaces, as this will dull the edge almost instantly. Regularly wipe the blade clean with a dry cloth to remove plastic shavings or adhesive residue, and use a light machine oil if storing in a humid environment to prevent oxidation.
