Troubleshooting

Rod feels unbalanced

Ensure you are using an appropriately sized baitcasting reel. The balance can be significantly affected by the reel's weight.

Guides feel rough or damaged

Inspect each guide insert for chips or cracks. If damage is found, consult a rod repair specialist as damaged guides can fray fishing line.

Reduced casting distance

Check for line tangles or debris on the line or guides. Ensure your lure weight is within the recommended range (60-100g) for optimal casting performance.

Excellent value for money
Versatile for various lure types
Responsive and sensitive blank
Comfortable and durable handle
High-quality, braid-friendly guides

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: This is a baitcasting rod, designed to be paired with a baitcasting reel. Ensure the reel is securely mounted to the reel seat and that the line is properly spooled and threaded through the guides.

Compatibility: The 7ft 60-100g rating indicates its optimal performance range for lure weights and line strength. It is compatible with braided lines due to the SiC guides, which minimize abrasion. Ensure your chosen baitcasting reel complements the rod's specifications for a balanced setup.

Care: After each use, rinse the rod with fresh water, especially if used in saltwater, to remove any salt, sand, or debris. Wipe the blank dry with a soft cloth. Periodically check the guides for any damage and ensure the reel seat remains clean and functional. Store the rod in a protective sleeve or rod tube when not in use, and avoid storing it in extreme temperatures.
