The water outlet can be located higher than the actual filter body, making it easier to disguise around the pond - particularly useful if incorporating a waterfall!Supplied with a fantastic new rotating cleaning handle on the head, maintaining the Pressurised Filter is now even easier! FAQs
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the filter when the float indicator pops out or when you notice a decrease in water flow. The frequency depends on the pond's bioload, but typically, cleaning every few weeks is sufficient.
How do I replace the UV bulb?
Disconnect the filter from the power supply. Consult the product manual for detailed instructions on accessing and replacing the UV bulb. Always use a replacement bulb of the correct wattage.
What type of pump do I need?
The pump's flow rate should be compatible with the filter's specifications. Consult the product manual for the recommended flow rate for your pond size.
Can I use this filter with a waterfall?
Yes, the pressurised design allows the outlet to be positioned above the filter, making it suitable for waterfalls and other water features.
What is the purpose of the bio balls?
Bio balls provide a large surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. These bacteria help to break down organic waste and maintain a healthy pond ecosystem.
What is the warranty?
Warranty information can be found on the product packaging or the manufacturer's website. It typically covers manufacturing defects for a specified period.
