FAQs

What kind of paste should I use?

Use a wallpaper paste specifically designed for 'paste the paper' application. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the paste packaging for proper mixing and application.

Can I use this wallpaper in a bathroom?

While the wallpaper is spongeable, excessive moisture is not recommended. Ensure proper ventilation if using in a bathroom.

How do I match the pattern?

This wallpaper has a straight match pattern. Align the edges of each panel horizontally to create a seamless look.

Is the wallpaper easy to remove?

Removal depends on the adhesive used and the wall's surface. It's generally easier to remove if applied to a properly primed wall.

What are the dimensions of each roll?

Each roll is 10m long and 52cm wide.

Troubleshooting

Wallpaper not sticking to the wall.

Ensure the wall is properly prepared (clean, dry, and smooth). Make sure you are using the correct type of wallpaper paste and applying it evenly. Allow sufficient time for the paste to activate before hanging the paper.

Air bubbles appear after hanging.

Use a smoothing tool to gently push air bubbles towards the edges of the wallpaper. For larger bubbles, carefully lift the wallpaper and re-apply, smoothing as you go.

Seams are visible.

Ensure panels are aligned correctly according to the straight match pattern. Use a seam roller to gently press the seams together without damaging the paper.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Offers a modern, industrial aesthetic.

Cons

Requires 'paste the paper' application, which may be new to some users.
Pattern match is straight, but still requires careful alignment.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any old wallpaper and repair any imperfections.
Paste the Paper: Apply wallpaper paste directly to the back of the wallpaper.
Application: Carefully align the wallpaper panels, matching the straight pattern. Use a smoothing tool to remove air bubbles.
Trimming: Trim excess wallpaper at the top and bottom edges using a sharp blade.

Compatibility

This wallpaper is compatible with most standard wall surfaces. Avoid applying to freshly painted walls; allow paint to cure completely. Ensure walls are primed for wallpaper application for best results.

Care

Clean the wallpaper with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the surface. For minor marks, gently wipe the area. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
