Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions:
- Select Size: Choose a heat shrink tube that is approximately twice the diameter of the item it needs to cover.
- Measure and Cut: Measure the required length of the tube and cut it cleanly.
- Apply Tube: Slide the cut tube over the component or wire you intend to protect.
- Apply Heat: Use a heat source such as a lighter, hair dryer, or heat gun. Apply heat evenly, moving the source to ensure consistent shrinkage until the tube conforms tightly to the shape underneath.
Caution: Always exercise caution when using heat sources and keep them away from flammable materials and children.
Compatibility:
This heat shrink tube is compatible with most common electrical wires, solder joints, and connectors. Ensure the item to be covered can withstand moderate heat during the shrinking process.
Care:
Once applied and shrunk, the heat shrink tube requires no specific maintenance. Its durable material is designed for long-term protection. Avoid prolonged exposure to abrasive materials or extreme mechanical stress that could damage the tubing.
