The vidaXL Floating Wall Shelf is an ideal storage solution for homeowners seeking to blend rustic aesthetics with functional utility in living rooms, hallways, or home offices. Crafted from solid oak with a distinct live-edge finish, this shelf provides a robust platform for books, decor, or even as a compact desk surface. While its heavy-duty construction and unique grain patterns offer timeless appeal, users should be aware that the natural wood characteristics, such as knots and cracks, are aesthetic features of the live-edge design rather than defects.

Yes, with a depth of 600mm, it is perfectly suited for use as a compact wall-mounted desk.
Yes, it comes with a dark brown paint finish and is ready for immediate installation.
The shelf is designed to support a maximum weight capacity of 48 kg.
Please check your specific packaging for included hardware, as installation requirements vary based on your wall type (e.g., drywall vs. masonry).
No, because it is handmade from solid wood with a live edge, each piece will feature unique knots, cracks, and grain patterns.
Yes, but ensure it is not placed in a direct spray zone of a shower, as prolonged moisture exposure can affect natural wood.
These are natural characteristics of the live-edge solid oak and are filled with a black filler for a smooth, intentional rustic aesthetic.
Ensure that the mounting hardware used is rated for 48 kg and is securely anchored into wall studs or load-bearing masonry.
For optimal stability, ensure the shelf is mounted to wall studs or a solid masonry wall, especially given the 48 kg weight capacity. As a natural wood product, keep the shelf away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent warping. To maintain the finish, clean only with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may strip the dark wood treatment. Because the wood contains natural imperfections filled with black filler, periodic light dusting is all that is required to keep the surface looking pristine.
