Product Information

Full details

The Atari 2600+ is for retro gaming enthusiasts who want to experience classic Atari 2600 and 7800 titles on modern hardware. Its key benefit is playing both cartridge types with modern TV connectivity and an updated controller. A caveat is that it primarily plays older games, with limited new content integration. This console faithfully recreates the iconic look of the original Atari 2600, offering HDMI output, widescreen support, and compatibility with original cartridges, all while including a CX40+ Joystick and a 10-in-1 game cartridge.

Troubleshooting

Console does not power on

Ensure the USB-C power cable is securely connected to both the console and a working power source. Verify the power source provides sufficient power (5V, 1A minimum).

No video or audio signal on TV

Confirm the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the console and the TV. Ensure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input source. Try a different HDMI cable or TV port.

Game cartridge not recognized

Remove the cartridge, ensure it is clean, and re-insert it firmly into the enlarged cartridge socket. Test with a different known-working cartridge.

Controller is unresponsive

Check that the controller cable is fully plugged into the console. Test with another compatible controller if available.

Poor performance or graphical glitches

This is often inherent to the original game's programming. Ensure the cartridge is clean and properly seated. If issues persist across multiple games, contact support.
