Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Assembly is required for this fire bowl. Typically, this involves attaching the legs or base, and ensuring the mesh lid and grill components are correctly placed. Refer to the included instruction manual for detailed steps specific to your model. Ensure the fire pit is placed on a level, non-combustible surface, away from any overhanging structures or flammable materials.
Compatibility:
This fire pit is designed for use with wood or charcoal as fuel. It is compatible with standard fire-starting materials. Ensure the area around the fire pit is clear and safe for use.
Care:
- Cleaning: Allow the fire pit to cool completely before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. For the interior, a stiff brush can be used to remove ash and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Maintenance: While the finish is weather-resistant, regular inspection for rust is recommended. Lightly sand any rusted areas and apply a high-temperature paint suitable for outdoor fireplaces if necessary. The included waterproof cover should be used when the fire pit is not in use, especially during wet or prolonged periods of inactivity, to prolong its lifespan.
- Storage: Store the fire pit in a dry location during harsh weather or off-seasons, using the provided cover.
