Troubleshooting

Zipper is stuck or difficult to close.

Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to move the slider back and forth. Lubricating the zipper with a pencil lead or a bit of wax may help.

Color bleeding after washing.

Ensure the cushion covers were washed with similar colors as recommended. For future washes, consider hand washing or using a color catcher sheet.

Cover does not fit cushion insert properly.

Verify that the cushion insert is indeed 18x18 inches. If the insert is overly plump, consider using a slightly smaller insert or fluffing the existing one less.

Fabric feels rough after washing.

This is less common with 100% cotton, but ensure you are using a low wash temperature and a gentle cycle. Air drying usually preserves softness better than high heat tumble drying.
