The Monument Heavy-Duty Manhole Cover Lift Keys (150mm) are essential tools for utility workers, landscapers, and maintenance professionals who need to safely remove heavy covers. Featuring a robust zinc-plated finish and an ergonomic design, these keys allow for a secure, positive grip even when wearing work gloves. While they offer excellent durability and mechanical advantage for heavy-duty lifting, users should note that they are specifically designed for covers compatible with rectangular lug systems and may not fit specialty or locking access covers.

No, these keys are designed specifically for covers that use rectangular lug access holes.
Each package contains two keys, which is the required amount for safely lifting a standard cover.
They are zinc-plated to provide enhanced corrosion protection, but they should be wiped dry after use in wet conditions to ensure longevity.
While not required, the handles are designed to be comfortable and secure even when wearing thick protective work gloves.
These specific keys measure 150mm in length.
Clear any packed debris or rust from the manhole cover hole using a wire brush before re-inserting the key.
Ensure the lug is inserted at the correct 90-degree angle to the cover slot and that you are using both keys in tandem to stabilize the weight.
Before attempting a lift, verify that your manhole cover features the standard rectangular slots required for these keys. Always inspect the keys for any signs of metal fatigue or bending before use. After heavy-duty jobs, wipe the keys down to remove dirt, grit, and moisture. Store them in a dry location to maintain the integrity of the zinc plating. Avoid using these keys as prying tools for other purposes, as excessive lateral force could bend the lugs and compromise their safety for future use.
